Withdrawal wording can refer to a bonus conversion cap, a payment-processing rule or a restriction on access to your own funds. These should never be collapsed into a single number.

In Great Britain, promotional rules should not be used to trap the remaining deposit balance and winnings from deposit-funded play. A limit on conversion of a particular bonus is a different issue. Ask the operator to name the balance, clause and transaction type to which a restriction applies.

Processing times, supported methods and reasonable arrangements for partial withdrawals may affect the mechanics. A minimum payout figure should not simply strand a smaller remaining deposit. Do not gamble further merely to reach a withdrawal threshold; ask how to take out the full residual deposit balance.

Ask for the rule and the remedy
A useful withdrawal enquiry distinguishes inability to withdraw from inability to make a particular partial withdrawal. If the reason is a bonus, request the balance classification and the particular clause.
