Payment-method exclusions and bonus eligibility
A payment method can be accepted by an account yet excluded from a particular promotion. Eligibility for a reward and the ability to move money are separate questions.

- Check before transferring money
- Do not infer a reason
- Keep a failed-credit record
Check before transferring money
Look for the promotion payment list rather than relying on logos in the cashier. A method shown as available for deposits may not qualify for the advertised reward. If the condition is absent or ambiguous, obtain clarification before paying, not after the funds are committed.
Do not infer a reason
An exclusion does not by itself prove anything about a payment provider safety or a customer behaviour. Publishers sometimes supply sweeping explanations that the operator never states. Stick to the documented eligibility condition and whether it was fairly presented.
Keep a failed-credit record
Save the method, amount, timestamp and promotion confirmation. Ask the operator to identify the rule that prevented crediting. If the restriction was poorly disclosed, distinguish the advertising issue from the request to return your remaining money. Do not send another deposit simply to try a different method.
Read eligibility and repayment separately
A payment exclusion can explain why a reward was not activated, but it does not by itself explain how the deposited funds should be returned. Keep those questions separate. If you ask for withdrawal, the operator may need to use an appropriate supported method or complete legitimate checks; request the specific route rather than assuming another deposit is necessary. Also check whether the name of a wallet, card or intermediary is being used consistently. The method displayed by the bank can differ from the label in the cashier, so transaction references help identify what actually happened. An exclusion should not be expanded through guesswork to every service with a similar name. Ask for the exact qualifying-method definition in the accepted promotion.
- Save the cashier label and transaction reference as well as the payment name shown on your own statement.
- Ask whether a restriction concerns receiving the incentive, withdrawing money, or both, and request the relevant clauses.
- Do not infer that all e-wallets, cards or bank transfers share identical promotional eligibility across unrelated offers.
Worked example · hypothetical
Accepted but ineligible
A hypothetical cashier accepts Method A, while the promotion only includes Method B. A £10 transfer through A may reach the account without triggering the incentive. That example explains two separate systems; it does not establish that an undisclosed exclusion is fair.

Common questions
Should I make another payment to unlock the bonus?
There is no need to do so automatically. Clarify the original transaction and consider whether participating still makes sense.
What if the account behaves differently from the explanation?
Stop and save the relevant screen, terms and transaction references. Ask for a written reconciliation. Continuing to gamble is not necessary to investigate an unclear promotional rule.
